KTM Moto3 customer racer for 2013 revealed

This news is taken from a recent article in Motorcycle News that we thought our fans would find interesting...

KTM will make a production Moto3 racer available to the public for 2013, priced at roughly £35,000 excluding VAT.

The customer Moto3 machine will differ slightly to the current factory machine ridden by Danny Kent, Sandro Cortese and Arthur Sissis. The wheels will be aluminium instead of magnesium, and there will be no factory Brembo brakes or WP suspension. The maximum engine speed will be 13,500rpm as opposed to the 14,000rpm of the current machine.

KTM are already taking orders for the 2013 machine, with the close date set for October 2012. The bikes will be delivered in February 2013.
