Phoenix Motorcycles support the Forget Me Not Foundation

As we've mentioned many times before, at Phoenix we take pride in giving back to deserving charities, and this weekend we were honoured to be supporting the Forget Me Not Foundation.

On Saturday 15th February, the Forget Me Not Foundation held a fundraiser at The Radisson Hotel in Glasgow's city centre. From the get go you could tell that we were in for a fantastic evening.

Throughout the night there were various fundraising events within the event itself, with the total figure reaching a whopping £60,000 and Phoenix were proud to contribute to this.

Instead of donating money to the Forget Me Not Foundation, we decided to donate a Vision 50 Repsol Scooter as an auction prize, which ended up selling for £2,200.

The lucky winners: Mr. & Mrs. Ferguson
We were delighted with how popular the scooter was, but more importantly, both the Forget Me Not Foundation and the winners were delighted with their prize too.

Overall this was a fantastic night not to be forgotten, we were more than happy to help and absolutely honoured to be a part of it.

John McLain rides out to Assen...

Last week 11 riders braved the trip to the Netherlands for the British Superbike round, at the TT Circuit in Assen. One of them was our very own John McLain from Phoenix Honda Grangemouth.

The weather was fine, although it could have been better, but it allowed us to endure the long ride through the UK to Hull safely. Then onto rotterdam to catch the overnight ferry.

With hundreds of bikes on the boat, John was the only one to get breathalised as they were leaving! It goes without saying that he passed...

After leaving the ferry at Rotterdam, the rest of the journey was quick and straight, led by John and Graham from Honda UK. As usual, the hospitality was fantastic with great food and another amazing tour around the garage.

With the night closing in, it was time for a BBQ at 'Camp Yippy' with lots of refreshments and the new chef doing a great job with the pink BBQ...

The race itself was edge of the seat stuff... The team are really looking forward to the final round down at Brands Hatch on 18th october.

There will be camping and a BBQ with some truly fantastic people, unfortunately for time for the last time this year.
